Stop hiding your spec sheets in PDFs

Search engines and AI tools quote what they can read. Publishing specs as clean, crawlable tables is the cheapest ranking win most manufacturers have.

A PDF datasheet is a dead end for search. It is hard to crawl, impossible to quote cleanly and usually missing from AI answers entirely.

What to do instead

  • Publish each product spec as an HTML table with units in their own column.
  • Keep the PDF as a download, not the only copy.
  • Use the same names for materials and sizes everywhere you sell.
